Chapter 55 – Proverbs 18:21
Proverbs 18:21 NASB1995 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
The tongue is a double edge sword. It can fabricate anything, from peace to war and everything in between. It's been tested ages ago and this proverbs prove it, that's Solomon for you.
As someone who is hot headed and “maikli ang pisi”, ay talagang masusubukan yung pasenya ng dila. The fruit can be sweet or bitter. You will know it once you experience it. That's why some says “tame the tongue”, and I can say its a good remedy. Christ is the cure.
